Invasor's pedigree is second to none... Romero Benitez combined the Pure Military Breeding (Yeguada Militar) of Evento with his own select horses to create a strong, clean and effective bloodline to carry the innate ability for cadence, collection and natural balance without compremizing the classic Spanish look or traditional style of brilliance in movement. In Benitez' selection of Evento, he would years later, (1996 Atlanta) realize having produced progeny of a sire proven in performance at the highest ability as judged in Olympic caliber competion against the best dressage horses the world had to offer. His effort in combining the two bloodlines created a product that was able to maintain and encapsulate all of the ideals the Pure Spanish Horse was origionally bred for, in accordance to the Royal Decree of Philip II in 1567. We believe that Invasor III may be the only son of Evento available to breeders in North America.

To this day, Evento still commands one of the three highest fees at the Military Stud in Jerez and is regarded as one of Spain's National treasures.
Sadly, Distinguito was not able to compete at the Athens Olympics due to an injury which required surgical intervention. The Spanish Team carried on to win the Silver Medal...

Invasor III (Evento x Invasora III) ... is a superlative example of the classic Purebred Spanish Horse and embodies all of the sought after traits including Conformation, Movement, Pedigree, Temperament and Training. Invasor was bred by Romero Benitez and bears his brand. He was trained at the Royal Andalusian School for the Equesrian Arts and used as a breeding stallion there as well. Invasor was eventually sold into private hands and is now owned and been recently imported to Canada by Aspera Terrent Farm.
